The Role

Working as a bridge between Automation technologies and customer support teams, Automation specialists work to take customer requirements and business information to design or re-design, develop, test and implement complex Automation solutions. The Tools & Automation group are committed to Agile delivery with a focus on Automation toolsets and DevOps approach.

You will be providing technical support and expertise, testing new solutions, responding to feedback, and actively participating in future technology roadmapping as well as maintain & support current solutions.


What you’ll do:


  • Develop and work with automation solutions
  • Maintain & Improve existing implementations
  • Provide Technical support and consultancy as required
  • Posses knowledge of monitoring technology and coding, developing efficiencies
  • Participate in the development of SRE Function and capability
  • “Automation first” approach

  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Develop and work with automation solution
  • Listen, understand and convey customer requirements
  • Provide technical/ product knowledge for sales people, business, and support teams on customer accounts
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives

What you’ll bring

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven abilities in continual process improvement
  • Ability to manage stakeholder and team member expectations
  • High level of Active Directory knowledge
  • Solid technical skills
  • Relevant experience in information technology, business or computer science
  • Confident presenting ideas and strategies
  • Knowledge or experience in the following tools/areas would be advantageous – Activate, Linux, Scripting (Powershell or other), Office 365, Cloud technologies, Ansible.
  • One major industry accreditation or equivalent industry experienceORRelevant IS/IT orientated tertiary qualification
