Talend is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team in Nantes or Suresnes offices. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the security, stability, and scalability of our Talend Cloud service especially Talend Cloud Data Catalog Product. You’ll get to work hands-on with plenty of exciting technology and scale challenges as we grow to support millions of transactions across hundreds of servers in our Talend Cloud environment. We are seeking candidates with expertise on both development and system administration.


  • Ensure high reliability and availability of the Talend Cloud Data Catalog Product
  • Work in close collaboration with other SRE teams and external Partners
  • Design and develop new infrastructure features based on Cloud Technology in a Public Cloud environment
  • Use professional concepts, company objectives and technical expertise to resolve complex issues at cloud infrastructure, systems, network, and application stacks in creative and effective ways
  • Perform on-call duty as part of a team maintaining the availability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in an SRE/DevOps role or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
  • Self-motivated, autonomous profile, free to determine the work priorities based on general directions from management;
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task with close attention to details
  • Experience in Cloud engineering / architecture (at least one from AWS or Azure) and microservices domain (Docker, Kubernetes...).
  • Experience in IaC / configuration mgmt. / systems automation tools in production environments at scale (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
  • Experience in DevOps/SRE practices, such as creating, using, evolving SLIs/SLOs utilizing industry-standard monitoring/observability solutions
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Zookeeper, ETCD, ActiveMQ, CI/CD (Jenkins2), scripting / automation (Bash, Python), Prometheus, ELK
  • Fundamental understanding of Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Kanban, SCRUM, SDLC...)
  • Proficiency in English communications, both oral and in writing
