A day in the life
As a part of the team, you will build and maintain the shared infrastructure that powers many of these core services to ensure that eero’s cloud is always available and performant. You will empower other engineering teams at eero to build and deploy their services in a maintainable and secure manner. You will also assist in the management of physical infrastructure in eero’s factories, to ensure that we are able to build and test all the devices in eero’s portfolio.

About the hiring group
eero's Cloud Systems and Infrastructure team is responsible for the cloud infrastructure we operate in AWS and physical servers in our factories. Our cloud services power critical features that enable customers to view, manage, and troubleshoot their networks

Job responsibilities
· Own eero’s Gitlab infrastructure for CI/CD for teams across the company
· Operate eero’s Kubernetes infrastructure on EKS, and ensure we are following industry best practices
· Establish best practices for AWS infrastructure and terraform management for other teams at the company to follow.
· Assist our Manufacturing team in the setup and maintenance of the physical servers powering our factory lines
· Identify processes that require manual work and drive towards automated solutions

Basic Qualifications


· 4+ years of DevOps experience on Cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
· Experience administering Linux/Unix servers

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience operating Kubernetes infrastructure
· Knowledge of CI/CD platforms like Gitlab
· Basic knowledge of Infrastructure management tooling like Terraform
· Basic knowledge of configuration management tooling like Ansible/Chef
· Understanding of networking and routing fundamentals
· Familiarity with database management (MySQL, Postgres)
· Experience scripting processes in bash and python
· Experience with AWS services such as RDS and EC2
