Client Service Technology
Bridgewater believes that the key to our organization’s success lies in creating meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our clients. The goal of the Client Service department is to provide world-class, unmatched service to our clients solving their most difficult investment problems and planning their investment strategies. Embedded within the Client Service department is a uniquely talented technology team building the tools that enable and enhance the way Client Service’s business users research markets and portfolios and interact with clients. These tools tackle problems from data pipelining, to portfolio logic, to data visualizations.

Position Responsibilities
The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will be architecting and future proofing our infrastructure including EKS clusters and other services in a 100% AWS environment as we move our business to a SaaS model. Our Client Service team is working 24-hours a day with clients in most every time zone around the world. Therefore, this team will be responsible for upgrading our infrastructure and enabling agility for our dev teams. This person will be responsible for very high SLA’s with a goal of no-outages, features-on-demand, and complete on-time releases while building out full CI/CD processes with our platform engineering team. The role also offers technical leadership opportunities on a team of 5 total engineers.


Preferred Requirements
• 7-10+ years professional experience in technically rigorous environment
• Strong computer science fundamentals with an expert understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, Go, and Python
• Deep expertise engineering in a 100% cloud environment. AWS a big plus
• Rich knowledge of multiple infrastructure specific areas such as metrics, monitoring, security, etc.
• CI/CD experience required…knowledge of Jenkins a plus
