As a Senior Quality Automation Engineer at Fanatics, you will specialize in building automations for our internal web tools and pipelines under our product engineering domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual, exploratory and automated testing for services and internal web-based tools used for management of product and site data.
  • - Research suitable tools for automation of UX and APIs and develop automations for testing within CI pipeline.
  • - Work with our internal automation framework team to develop new features and incorporate its use as part of our CI testing.
  • - Work with multiple teams and data sources to gather requirements and build test cases, ensure and improve coverage.
  • - Participate of scrums within the development team
  • - Discover and track bug resolution using Jira
  • - Develop daily status and defect reports
  • - Define data quality metrics and ways to improve catalog data quality

A suitable candidate would have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of leveraging a programming language like Java/Scala/GO/Python on the implementation of testing frameworks.
  • Experience in documenting test cases and building automated test suites for API's , data driven testing, UX testing framework
  • Experience with automation frameworks like webdriverio, cypress, pytest etc.
  • Experience with writing efficient SQL queries
  • Strong experience with cloud environments like AWS, GCP
  • Attitude to work in a fast-pace environment that values agility over talk
Salary Range for Developing/Journey levels: $82,000 - $130,000Salary Range for Senior levels: $120,000 - $170,000Depending on Education/Training and Experience
