We are looking for a quality assurance engineer, who can proactively and effectively work in a highly agile product development environment, along with fellow teammates as well as the product owner and customers, so as to maintain the quality of the delivered product at a satisfactory level.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before each product launch to ensure our product quality meets customer needs, providing timely feedback to developers.

The ideal candidate should be a creative thinker, self starter, motivated to tackle complicated problems, and eager and willing to learn and work on new technologies and, possibly, programming languages.

  • Help the product owner and customers define/refine the product increments to be developed and delivered, by reviewing the requirements and giving timely feedback
  • Help the team deliver testable and tested product increments, by reviewing their design and giving timely feedback
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of detailed, comprehensive and well-organized test plans and cases
  • Help to estimate, prioritize and coordinate testing activities
  • Involvement in the design, development/maintenance and execution of automation testing scripts
  • Identify and track bugs, giving timely feedback to developers
  • Perform full regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Other duties as needed or required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally, a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Some work experience in software quality assurance, knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and process
  • Familiarity with making test plans and test cases
  • Basic programming in Python, or a strong desire to learn
  • Written and verbal fluency in English


  • Familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu Linux systems and networking operations
  • Familiarity with automation test scripting
  • Familiarity with performance and/or security testing
  • Experience with open source automation frameworks, e.g. Robot, Selenium
  • Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure, e.g. Jenkins
  • Familiarity with network backbone technology, especially SDN/NFV technologies
  • Experience with container technology, e.g. Docker
  • Experience with project management SaaS tools such as GitHub/Bitbucket and Jira
