We are looking for an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team! Reporting to our Director, Engineering, you will be a trusted partner, working closely with our application developers and architects to build, automate, and support our application infrastructure and deployment processes.
As a key member of the DevOps team, your main focus will be on increasing the velocity of development and the delivery of automated solutions while minimizing downtime and increasing stability.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead initiatives to completion and taking ownership
  • Maintaining and improving existing infrastructure
  • Enforcing best practices for security and reliability
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues
  • Automating recurring tasks
  • Maintaining and improving existing build and deployment processes – Increase flow!
  • Help more junior engineers to progress
  • Collaborating with development teams

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10+ years’ non-trivial, production-level experience: oIn a DevOps, software development, or infrastructure engineering role
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS and AWSCLI including:
  • Kinesis, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, EC2, VPC, EBS, ELB/ALB, SNS, SQS, S3, Elasticache, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, CloudFormation, Container Service and TerraForm
  • Docker and related orchestration technologies
  • Deploying .NET applications and websites
  • TeamCity or similar
  • Octopus Deploy or similar
  • Github, Bitbucket or similar
  • Jenkins, Bamboo or similar
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Highly skilled in OS: Windows, Linux
  • Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and relevant capacity planning
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
  • Embraces DevOps philosophy
  • On-Call experience is a plus
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
