As a Quality Automation Engineer within our Bank Feeds team, you’ll be joining one of the cornerstones of what makes Xero incredible. Without us, Xero wouldn’t be where it is today. We work directly with the banks to implement and improve integrations, provide bank feeds and create the links that make so many of Xero’s awesome product features possible.
You’ll have a passion for technology and continuous improvement.  You’ll enjoy a collaborative approach to software development and sharing your knowledge with others as you’ll be driving good quality and testing practices within the development team.

What you’ll bring:

  • An understanding of cloud-based, SaaS software and automation testing.
  • Knowledge in AWS, Docker
  • Experience in Containerized testing approach
  • A strong understanding of OOP concepts based on C#/Java.
  • An ability to build, maintain and enhance robust automation frameworks for complex solutions (both GUI and API layers)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GIT, SVN, CVS)
  • Keen to promote CI/CD best practices
  • A resourceful, innovative and collaborative team-player
  • Keen to share your knowledge with the rest of the team
  • Keeping yourself up to date with the latest in quality assurance practices
  • Looking to make some awesome things happen in a fast paced, highly technical environment
  • Keen to mentor other members of the team.
