Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for an DevOps Engineer who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment building and maintaining a cloud-native DevSecOps platform for a DoD customer. The successful candidate will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools for developers, automate deployment of services to cloud platforms, provide documentation and self-service tools to onboard product teams, and monitor security and performance of platform services. Our DevOps engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain critical services on cloud-native architecture
  • Deploy and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments
  • Use automation best practices such a IaC and GitOps for repeatability and fast provisioning of environments
  • Implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Work closely with development teams to provide onboarding support
  • Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies
  • Support backup and disaster recovery planning
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD automation servers including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI
  • Experience and/or familiarity with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, OWASP-DC, Anchore, Claire, OPA, Fortify, Checkmarx, Synk, and OpenSCAP
  • Experience with providing Identity Management services including SSO using Open ID Connect (OIDC) or SAML
  • Experience configuring and deploying cloud-native services to Kubernetes platforms
  • Experience working closely with product teams to troubleshoot issues and help them onboard to CI/CD services
  • Linux command line and bash scripting experience
  • US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with DoD FedRAMP authorized cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
  • Development experience with scripting languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript
