Site Reliability Operations Team Lead

We are looking for a Team Lead to join our Infrastructure Team, to build, support, and grow our Site Reliability Operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in shift structure as first responders to alerts and incidents in our infrastructure, across the entire stack.
• Perform initial triage and remediation as per runbooks, and own events from start to finish.
• Develop and constantly maintain runbooks for all services
• Interface with other teams as necessary, to ensure a world-class customer experience.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive work
• Provide technical leadership for the analysts in the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical operations environment
• Experience with operating infrastructure in a cloud environment
• Any kind of NOC experience 
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as NewRelic and Honeycomb
• Experience with tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Desirable: Python scripting ability
• Desirable: SQL ability
• Experience in internet infrastructure operations
• Experience in a fast-moving, high growth environment
• Able to fly by the seat of your pants
• Detail-oriented
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Network operations experience, as well as prior leadership experience, would be beneficial

Performance Indicators:

• Mean time to incident response and recovery
• Percentage of incidents closed out
• Reduction in number of incidents/100 customers
