SummaryThe Manager, Infrastructure Engineering is responsible for full cycle of planning, organizing, and directing the design, of corporate IT systems, operation, and maintenance of the Systems Infrastructure at an enterprise level for the company.  The position supports the administration of the Microsoft environment including Active Directory Identity Management as well as Exchange and Outlook.The position defines systems architecture and provides vision, develops a strategic roadmap anticipates problems and provides direction in solving technical issues for the organization.This position requires deep knowledge a public company’s technological concepts, practices, and procedures. This candidate will need to rely on experience, expertise, and judgment to plan and accomplish company initiatives while performing a variety of tasks and duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities·         This person will direct technical initiatives related to the design, implementation, monitoring, problem resolution, disaster planning and overall maintenance of Fanatics systems infrastructure supporting the E-commerce business. ·         Direct teams in preparation of high level and detailed system designs. ·         Work closely with the peer groups to ensure smooth planning, implementation, and cutovers of systems.·         Responsible for IT Budget planning and monitoring ·         Responsible for software licensing in their area of responsibility·         This position will be project managing system projects within the group.·         Interface with representatives of business units, and technology groups to define requirements and process needed to provision systems services.·         Maintain the systems roadmap for EOS dates, improvements and upgrades and capacity planning functions. ·         Manage the architecture roadmap for the data and security of systems based on service development and demand to support existing and evolving system services.  ·         Develop plans to grow the systems infrastructure to meet the group’s evolving service requirements. ·         Participate in all technical aspects of server technology, Storage, Replication, Collaboration tools and security internetworking projects including, short- and long-term planning.·         Evaluate and select systems, software, and services to fulfill various businesses needs as requirements develop.·         Direct system management functions/troubleshooting/capacity planning/performance monitoring utilizing various systems management/analysis tools.·         Manage technical support staff, operations and problem resolution of systems infrastructure as required, including 24X7 on-call support.·         Manage support and implementation planning for business continuity and disaster recovery.·         Prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.  Minimum QualificationsEducation / Degree combined with experience:Bachelor's Degree combined with 3+ years of related experience in Managing Technical Support Systems Teams Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies Ability to lead, direct and deliver major technical initiatives. Experience / Education Area:• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science/Business or related field and/or demonstrated capability through previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities• Five (5 – 7) years’ experience in managing a high availability systems implementations and support team. Required (must have) Technical Skills:•         Knowledge and experience in Azure Active Directory   •         Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Identity Management •         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 0365 and Azure leading practices •         Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange/Outlook ·         Knowledge of OS Windows Security configuration   Other Preferred Technical Skills:·         Knowledge of Microsoft / vendor Licensing methodologies •         PCI and SOX knowledge and experience ·         Knowledge and experience in managing Windows systems, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, FTP and SMTP•         Knowledge of applications and development methodologies. •         Proficient knowledge and experience with network and systems management/analysis tools.Soft skills:• Ability to lead problem analysis and resolve a system infrastructure problem in a methodical and effective manner.• Ability to document designs and implantations in detail.• Familiarity with the business operations of a hosting provider and/or E-commerce.• Ability to implement plans with other groups such as business units and applications, database, and network teams to develop business and technical requirements, develop project plans, system designs and implementation plans.• Proven written and verbal communications skills, including an ability to provide a synopsis to management.• Candidate must have a good grasp of technical system trends and the mission of the group to provide the most cost effective and efficient systems and maintain upgrade paths.Tryouts are open at Fanatics!
