We are looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented technical program manager. AWS Security is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees interact with resources, systems, and data. The successful candidate is one who loves managing programs and is committed to formulating and implementing wide-ranging process improvements. You are passionate about the security of the cloud and you want to solve real business problems. You possess strong communication skills, can operate independently, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You have an understanding of basic technical concepts, and possess a broad understanding of AWS services. You are detail-oriented, and drive towards improved performance while advocating for customer needs.

As a TPM in AWS Security you will be responsible for a set of long-term security outcomes. Your day to day job responsibilities will include:
· Working across teams to drive, manage and track long-term projects
· Provide consistent, executive-level reporting on project status and outcomes
· Identifying functional and technical requirements by collecting inputs from business, security, and technical teams.
· Aptitude for technology, able to learn new tools quickly
· Able to synthesize data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives and goals
· Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
· Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of the secure solution
· Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability
· Lead internal process improvement projects, including the development and implementation of internal tools
· Drive Security metrics delivery and improvements

Basic Qualifications


·Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
· Experience across cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal
· Possesses the ability to motivate others
· Prior working experience in a Software Development Team
· Experience working with stakeholders across many functions
· Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
· Experience with the standardization of metrics across a large organization
· Prior experience providing executive reporting
· A demonstrated commitment to meeting customer goals
· A demonstrated commitment to driving long-term mitigations
· Have a clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture
· Ability to communicate effectively across a multitude of platforms with remote team members, global teams and stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
· Proven ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
· Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills

Preferred Qualifications


· Demonstrated experience and success at leading cross functional programs and proven ability to influence and lead without direct management authority
· Demonstrate innovative security approaches in non-traditional IT environments
· Experience with multiple programming languages (such as, Java, C++, Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.)
· Have experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency
· Security architecture experience within a professional services firm or similar environment
· Have experience driving security programs across large diverse organizations
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
·Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
