Uniphore, the leader in conversational AI, is looking for a superstar Director, Product Line Management – Cloud Infrastructure Platform. As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for the Product Management of the underlying cloud platform, APIs and services that support Uniphore Products and Product Line families. You will work on developing the product vision, strategy, roadmap and P&L for a key product line family. You will be able to balance business needs, delivery costs with technical constraints and love bringing new products to market and to our customers.  Product Management within Uniphore is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy that drives the growth at Uniphore. You must be willing to defend that strategy against random changes, fads, and single customer escalations. You will look at the “Big Picture” and consider the competitive landscape, customer base, and market opportunities and focus on business results (revenue, margin, delivery cost) over feature deliverables.  Product Management at Uniphore drive the entire product lifecycle from defining the target through to checking whether business forecasts match the real-world performance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the P&L of the product / product line 
  • Collaborate with business leadership team in defining clear product strategy within the relevant market or geography. 
  • Evaluate business opportunities & impact and build business cases for new products and features including evaluation of whether we should build, buy or partner 
  • Identify market requirements, create preliminary design concepts and drive the implementation of the platform roadmap 
  • Define creative, high quality, simple platform roadmaps, user stories and UX that can be used to create product specifications and architecture 
  • Prioritize business requirements and translate them to product functional & technical requirements 
  • Perform Product feature gap analysis, Competition & SWOT Analysis, Requirements Analysis, Customer Feedback Surveys, Own Product Literature, Demonstrate Products to Customers/Partners 
  • Interface with cross-functional teams - Product Engineering, UX/UI, Core-Technology, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Business Development – to build and deliver your roadmap 
  • Develop GM & pricing models for the product / product line 
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop go to market strategy, positioning, collaterals, pricing, and launch plans; accountable for coordinated execution across product, sales, marketing and other customer facing teams. 
  • Own the end-to-end product management cycle from Concept to Market Introduction, and lifecycle management 
  • Manage and build relationships with partners to deliver a market leading product portfolio 
  • Develop appropriate metrics and tracking of product initiatives and ensure reporting to stakeholders 
  • Evangelize product for sales, customers, and media. 

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT Engineering or related fields  
  • 8+ years of experience in delivering SaaS based / web-based platforms with 5+ years of Product Management experience  
  • Experience in micro-service, API gateway and other shared service platform definition and product management strongly preferred 
  • Domain knowledge in building & launching solutions for contact centers, quality management and conversational analytics  
  • Experience with cloud tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana 
  • Experience in building SaaS products with Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence is a plus 
  • Experience in working in Agile methodologies and maintaining successful working relationships with engineering 
  • Proven analytical thinking, big picture & business thinking, leadership, problem solving, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills  
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail 
  • Excellent written & oral communication  
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives
