What you need to have:

  • Must have very good working knowledge of Amazon/Azure Cloud & Web Services Platform, Products & Services
  • Exposure to SaaS software deployments and support is desirable
  • Good knowledge of Relational and NoSQL Databases, Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancing, CDNs, Networking etc.
  • Knowledge of HA and DR on Cloud is desirable.
  • Must have good understanding of Cloud Security concepts and services.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) – Experience of supporting and troubleshooting issues and performance
  • Good Understanding of core networking concepts: VLANs, layer2/3 routing, access lists & load balancing
  • Good understanding of design and architecture of Native Cloud applications, Cloud application design patterns and practices

In a typical day, what you will do (The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Build, operate and support AWS/Azure/Other Cloud environments
  • Respond to support requests via emails/tickets and phone calls within response time SLAs
  • Closely work with sales team and product engineering team to understand the cloud requirements
  • Ready to work/coordinate with stakeholder in different geographical locations
  • Executing and troubleshooting SaaS application deployment procedures
  • Responsible for creating cloud IT policies for internal organization
  • Coordinate with multiple cloud vendors for better pricing negotiation
  • Development of and continual improvement of automation and procedures
  • Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time critical incidents
  • Assist customers in the configuration of backup, patching and monitoring of servers and services
  • Develop and manage large multi-region multi-CPU virtual machine (VM) clusters and pods
  • Ability to work with cloud monitoring tools to manage the resources and cost
  • Ability to estimate cloud cost for budgeting purposes
  • Build customer solutions, leveraging automation and delivery mechanisms for efficiency and scalability
  • Good understanding knowledge of network best practices and firewall concepts
  • Configuration and management of Linux servers in cloud and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge in creating MFA for the servers using AD & Radius server in AWS/Azure.
  • Good exposure to cloud security & compliance management
  • Enterprise grade configuration management tools
  • Ownership of issues, including collaboration with other teams and escalation
  • Support the success and development of others in the team
