We have an opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will critically examine a customer platform to provide Tier 3+ support for customers throughout the entire process. This position will drive innovation and change to increase automation and efficiency. This position also requires experience working in a DevSecOps environment as a solutions architect or technical lead. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Define and standardize a set of tools and processes to be used to identify areas for improvement and implement automation
  • Identify inefficient and/or manual processes and create innovative automation to replace those processes
  • Work closely with the customer to communicate proposed processes and obtain approval to implement
  • Identify and analyze the impact of each change and how it will affect the team and program as a whole
  • Work closely with engineers to drive the implementation of new automation processes and collect feedback
  • Analyze each process or tool that is implemented and determine if changes or enhancements need to be made to increase productivity and efficiency
  • The candidate will provide hands-on experience with building enterprise CI/CD architecture to support the development team's software development, integration, test automation, security testing, and deployments.
  Required Qualifications:
  • Hands on automation (Bash, Python, Go, Groovy)
  • 2+ years experience in CI/CD
  • 5+ years of experience developing and operating mission-critical systems
  • Experience planning and architecting a cloud solution
  • Expert level understanding of infrastructure automation technologies
  • Experience implementing GitOps continuous deployment with Kubernetes, Istio, and KeyCloak
  • Capable of coordinating teams to identify a viable solution for Tier 3 customer support
  • Capable of quickly learning the existing architecture and recommending viable improvements that meet GitOps practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • US Citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance or higher required
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and typical tools in a pipeline including SAST/DAST, dependency checkers, unit testing frameworks, and code quality checkers
  • Deep understanding of cloud environments from major cloud service providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Previous experience working with Agile software development or cybersecurity teams
  • Strong customer service, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to continuously grow and expand current skill set to include new tools and approaches to automation
  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master or Solutions Architect
  • Previous experience supporting the DoD
