Protecting people online means protecting the systems they use. With more of life moving online, organizations are managing increasingly complex systems, and attacks are getting more sophisticated. Detecting vulnerabilities and intrusions, and remediating them, is more important than ever! At AWS we believe everyone should be protected. We're building services like Security Hub, which consolidates and prioritizes findings for fast triage and automatically checks security posture against best practices and industry standards. We help organizations secure systems so the people using them can stay safe.

We’re looking for a talented and curious Senior UX Designer to lead design on AWS Security Hub and contribute design patterns to our other security services as well as AWS overall. Security Hub is part of our larger collection of AWS External Security Services, which also includes GuardDuty, Macie, Inspector, and Detective. Together these services help customers monitor their overall AWS security posture, detect threats using machine learning, conduct data classification on their Amazon S3 buckets using natural language processing, identify vulnerabilities in their applications, and investigate security alerts and incidents.

The ideal candidate has experience in identifying and clarifying user needs and solving them in digital enterprise products or software as a service, especially in security-related domains. We value holistic systems thinking, blue sky ideation skills, deep attention to detail, and passion for making difficult tasks into simple and delightful experiences for customers.
We are a growing band of innovators, disruptors, and problem solvers working on some of the world’s biggest design challenges.

Inclusive Team Culture
Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Mentorship & Career Growth
We care about your career growth too. Once you join the team, you and your manager will jointly craft a career plan and collaborate regularly to help you meet your goals. Whether you want to explore new technologies, take on bigger opportunities, or get to the next level, we'll help you get there. Our business is growing fast and our people are growing together.

Work/Life Balance
We believe striking the right balance between your personal and professional life is critical to life-long happiness and fulfillment. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives. It’s not about how many hours you spend at home or at work; it’s about the flow you establish that brings energy to both parts of your life.
