Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Developer you will develop applications based on Java/J2EE technology stack using Java as the programming language. This role requires experience on development of enterprise applications using Java technologies such as core Java, JSP, Servlet, Java beans, Java 2 Enterprise Edition, etc.

Able to translate business needs to technical requirements and implementation;
A team player interested to be part of a senior team of talented developers;
Opened to learn new software development processes, like test-driven developing or domain-driven design;
This job role requires hybrid skills with strong Java development background and hands-on exposure to DevOps methodology. You will also have process experience in software deployment, versioning and release management processes as well as supporting software development and production environments.
Primary skills include Storm / Openstack, Cloudify, YAML, TOSCA Blue print. Continuous Integration: Jenkins, Maven.
Scripting: Any of BASH / Power shell, Python would be considered assets.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining DevOps capabilities to support agile product development, including automated builds, automated infrastructure and application deployments, automated testing;
Coordinating technical changes across teams for successful and timely delivery of projects;
Overall supporting and managing project application environments.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
Minimum 3 years of DevOps experience in creating, integrating, and supporting automated deployment pipelines in Jenkins, working with Java, NodeJS;
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience with the following tools: Jenkins, Nexus;

Continuous Integration e.g. Jenkins, UrbanCode, SonarQube, Nexus
Containerization e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
Source code management tools such as GitHub, JIRA, RTC
Logging e.g. ELK(Elesticsearch,Logstash,Kibarna)/EFK
Cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Automation Testing tools e.g. Selenium, JUnit
