The Role

We are looking to hire a DevOps Infrastructure Manager to lead our DevOps activities from London location and help building and expanding our infrastructure and supporting tools and technologies. With leadership experience and solid technical background in DevOps technologies and methodologies, the DevOps Infrastructure Manager will closely work with the Development, QA, Security organisation and other teams to create and manage the strategy and roadmaps that will support the company's growth


  • A proven track record in managing a DevOps organisation in a similar environment
  • Experience in deployment and infrastructure strategy across organization
  • Experience in infrastructure cost and performance optimisations
  • Experience in developing and managing cyber security policies and procedures
  • Experience in Service Delivery and partners management
  • Working experience of Linux Administration (Centos/Redhat)
  • Experience in monitoring production systems and providing Application Support
  • Experience in deploying cloud solutions – AWS / GCP
  • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in deployment automation (on-demand environment creation)
  • Data center experience (racking and stacking)
  • Experience in source control management (GIT)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in build automation and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins/Concourse)
  • Working knowledge in configuration management tools (eg Chef, Ansible)
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code management and provisioning
  • A strong track record of managing external vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and well-rounded in infrastructure technologies
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming language (ruby, python, etc.)
  • Experience with CDN vendors
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and Crowd.
  • Experience working with DBA Team on databases like MySQL and MongoDB is a Plus
  • Solid understanding with agile software development methodologies

Job Requirements

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff and other business partners to promote operational excellence
  • Lead the company’s relationships and infrastructure both with AWS / GCP and with our hosting partners
  • Manage infrastructure costs and expansion across multiple hosting facilities
  • Utilize configuration management tools and deployment infrastructure to ensure alignment with business demands
  • Work with Cloud Architect on the design and own the implementation and maintenance of a build and deployment framework to support software product development
  • Support and implement configuration management and environment automation using chef, terraform and Ansible
  • Document the processes for versioning, deployment and the migration of code between environments
  • Work with NOC on an adequate monitoring approach
  • Responsible for the company supporting tools like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Crowd and others.
  • Systems support (installing and configuring software, fixing issues, patching etc.)
  • Automation of software builds and code deployment


  • Total relevant industry experience : 10+ yrs
  • 10 years of experience in Release, Build, source-control and application-support management
  • 3 yrs of experience with Application containerization
  • 3-5 years of experience with AWS/GCP.
  • 5 years of experience in production support activities.
  • Strong Knowledge on Linux administration and Continuous Integration.
  • Experience with server virtualization
