About the Role:
The Arctic Wolf security operations platform receives upwards of 100 billion events a day from a wide variety of on-premise devices and cloud platforms. We are looking for a talented developer to join the team responsible for scaling and extending the frameworks and services that underpin the secure ingestion and normalization of this data. Arctic Wolf R&D teams are responsible for the full software development lifecycle of their services, including design, development, testing, and production monitoring. Our adherence to a culture of Continuous Integration and Infrastructure-as-Code allows us to deploy code to production in as little as hours after it is merged. - Work on both functional and scalability improvements to our ingestion and normalization infrastructure services.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and production monitoring.
Our Technology Stack:
Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Linux
- 5+ years of experience in the software development industry
- Experience with writing production-quality Python code is preferred; alternatively, demonstrated experience quickly coming up to speed in a new language
- Experience developing containerized services on cloud computing platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure, GCP) strongly preferred
- Experience with modern development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, XP, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
