About our Team:
As part of providing a powerful, flexible and secure foundation for managing AWS regions, we are building services and products to enable AWS service teams around the world to automate their infrastructure and manage their services in all the regions that they run. This team is redefining the way AWS designs, builds and operates a devops stack running across multiple regions. We deliver products by working backwards from unique customer requirements for broader applicability to AWS’ global regions.
You’ll be working with a team of experts across the fields of continuous delivery, deployment, release automation, region build and many critical AWS service teams to develop new and innovative solutions to some of the hardest challenges related to infrastructure automation. You'll also establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale infrastructure modelling, infrastructure automation, and release safety.

· 4+ years of professional software development experience
· 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
Preferred Qualifications· Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Distributed systems and web services design and implementation experience
· Thorough understanding of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, and UDP
· Experience implementing servers and/or software solutions in a Linux environment
· Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and analysis
