We are currently looking to hire a leader to manage our Dev Ops activities across the globe from our London location and help building and expanding our infrastructure and supporting tools and technologies. With leadership experience and a solid technical background as a Dev Ops engineer, the Head of Dev Ops will work closely with the development teams, Customer Success and the cooperate IT and security organizations to create and manage the strategy and roadmaps that will support the company’s growth.


  • A proven track record in managing a DevOps organisation in a similar environment
  • Experience in deployment and infrastructure strategy across organization
  • Experience in infrastructure cost and performance optimisations
  • Experience in developing and managing cyber security policies and procedures
  • Experience in Service Delivery and partners management
  • Working experience of Linux Administration (Centos/Redhat)
  • Experience in monitoring production systems and providing Application Support
  • Experience in deploying cloud solutions – AWS / Google
  • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in deployment automation (on demand environment creation)
  • Data center experience (racking and stacking)
  • Experience in source control management (SVN,GIT,TFS)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in build automation, continuous integration and configuration management tools (e.g. Maven, Jenkins/Teamcity)
  • A strong track record of managing external vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and well-rounded in infrastructure technologies
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming language (perl, ruby, python, etc.)
  • Experience with CDN
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Crowd and Bamboo
  • Experience working with DBA Team on databases like MSSQL, MySQL and MongoDB is a Plus
  • Solid understanding with agile software development methodologies

Job Requirements

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff and other business partners to promote operational excellence
  • Lead the company’s relationships and infrastructure both with Amazon AWS / Google cloud and with our hosting partners
  • Manage infrastructure costs and expansion across multiple hosting facilities
  • Utilize configuration management tools and deployment infrastructure to ensure alignment with business demands
  • Own the design, implementation and maintenance of a build and deployment framework to support software product development
  • Support and implement configuration management and environment automation using Puppet, Terraform and Ansible
  • Design and document processes for versioning, deployment and the migration of code between environments
  • Setup and manage monitoring teams
  • Responsible for the company supporting tools like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo etc
  • Management of the Interactive Information security strategy and practices
  • Systems support (installing and configuring software, fixing issues, patching etc.)
  • Adherence to process (ITIL) and change management processes
  • Automation of software builds and code deployment
  • Total relevant industry experience : 10+ yrs
  • 10 years of experience in Release, Build, source-control and application-support management
  • 3 yrs of experience with Application containerization
  • 3-5 years of experience with AWS/GCP.
  • 5 years of experience on production support activities.
  • Strong Knowledge on Linux administration and Continuous Integration.
  • Experience with server virtualization
