As an Infrastructure Engineer you’ll be part of an extremely agile team of developers working with all the pieces of a system. From writing code to spin up cloud infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while making sure you have fun learning and building things. We are looking for mid-level engineers with at least three years of experience and an appetite for solving complex problems

Expected traveling time (UK, Porto, and USA):: 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. Due to the current restrictions of COVID-19, we are a remote first business until further notice.

Requirements

You rock at

  • Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
  • Container orchestration tools, platforms and frameworks (Knative, Istio, Kubernets, Envoy)
  • One or more programming language such as Ruby, Python, Perl or Javascript
  • Roaming around a Unix system and pinpointing problem root causes
  • Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn with and teach others
  • Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
  • You have at least 3-5 years experience in a DevOps professional setting

You are good at

  • Comfortable working with CI tools (e.g.: Jenkins, CircleCI)
  • Designing, writing, and troubleshooting Dockerfiles and docker-compose files
  • Understanding how the Internet and Web applications work over and under the hood
  • Highly scalable/transactional systems and infrastructures
  • Metrics, graphs and everything around monitoring
  • Configuration management frameworks such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
  • Managing NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch
