We are looking for an experience DevOps engineer in the CIO Blockchain for Supply Chain team to support our award-winning fast growing Customs Declaration Blockchain solution for Global Logistics. Candidates must have a solid experience in back-end / server-side development and passion for new technologies. Be ready to engage closely with our Business Analysts and Full stack developers to build Cloud applications that drive a great user experience across an expanding Blockchain business network. As a DevOps Engineer you will work in a Kubernetes based micro services environment to support our leading edge blockchain application. This will include building and deploying automation, monitoring and data gathering to find issues and resolve them through our software delivery pipeline.
You will also be contributing to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevOps and our agile adoption practices. Experience with tunable and scalable cloud deployments is important.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3 plus years’ experience in application development
- 2 plus years’ experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Travis CI, Toolchain
- 2 plus years’ experience with automating server operations and maintenance tasks using Configuration Management automation tools (Chef or Ansible) and Continuous Integration job scheduling tools (Jenkins or Travis).
- 2 plus years’ experience with REST APIs, network protocols, network firewall configuration, message-oriented middleware (MQ or equivalent)
- 1 plus years’ experience with SQL and NoSQL database administration
- 1 plus years’ experience with Blockchain Technology, IBM Blockchain Platform, IBM Cloud platforms including IBM Public Cloud and CIO managed infrastructure (e.g. Cirrus)
- 1 plus years’ experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Masters in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- 2 plus years’ advanced practice of Agile development methodologies
- 1 plus years’ experience with DevOps tools such as Git/GitHub, JIRA, Trello
