Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will work as part of a 15-20 person team to deploy a modern AI/ML platform for use by the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC). The team will design, develop, test, and validate AI/ML pipelines that will be implemented within this platform. The Site Reliability Engineer will specifically focus on maintaining the platform, tools, software, and services for the platform. This will include services deployed to AWS and Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, containers, cyber security testing software, and custom software. The person will perform root cause analysis of issues and resolve them with the help of other members of the DevSecOps and Cloud Architecture teams.

  Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining services and applications at the enterprise level
  • 3+ years working in Cloud environments
  • 1+ years experience developing and/or maintaining services within a Kubernetes platform
  • Experience using IaC and CaC to automate provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure and services
  • Proficiency working in a Linux command line and writing Bash or Python scripts
  • Knowledge of RMF and previous experience going through the Assessment and Authorization process to attain an Authorization to Operate (ATO)
  • Experience with DevSecOps processes and working within an agile, highly responsive team to meet customer and mission needs
  • Knowledge of container hardening practices and experience with artifact repositories
  • Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cyber security tools such as Fortify, OWASP DC, SonarQube, or Checkmarx
  • Previous experience using a Git based repository
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with partner disciplines (Software Development, Security, and Operations)
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously while delivering impactful outcomes and results
  • HS Diploma
  • US Citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance or higher required
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Software development experience
  • A cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Previous experience supporting the DoD
  • Experience with Kubernetes service meshes
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and tools
