Arctic Wolf is looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Manager to join our fast-growing team.  This role would report to the Senior IT Manager and be accountable for leading and managing the day-to-day operations within the Network Infrastructure Team, as well as assisting the Senior IT Manager with the tactical and strategic direction, planning, and execution.  This role’s responsibilities include the management of Arctic Wolf Endpoint projects, day to day support, system management, people management, and oversight of systems that include Networks, Firewalls, Wireless, Systems, Monitoring, Internet Connectivity, as well as Design and the planning of current and future Office Builds. This role will be primarily people and project management with limited hands-on work. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, develop and mature the Infrastructure Team processes and ability to be hands-on, when necessary, with a strong ability to delegate projects and tasks effectively.
  • Gather and create KPI’s, as well as enhance workflow automation of Infrastructure team responsibilities.
  • Manage IT Network team to provide timely completion of projects and tasks that meet and exceed request SLA’s and project deadlines. `
  • Manage, review, update and provide oversight existing device management policies and profiles.
  • Collaborate and plan with key stakeholders to execute on activities related to platform maintenance, disaster recovery, software release management and compliance.
  • Perform capacity and stability planning and monitoring.
  • Assist with management of relationships with external IT Network partners including ISP’s, Microsoft, Juniper, Dell etc.
  • Responsible for continually improving processes for the deployment, configuration, automating, and management of AWN owned endpoints, and related technology with the IT Network Infrastructure team.
  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of configuration change requests and associated documentation.
  • Manage, develop, and mature our IT Windows cloud environment.
  • Ability to be part of an on-call escalation process.
  • Ability to travel within US and Internationally. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an IT Management role
  • 5-7 years of experience in macOS, Windows and Mobile Technology
  • 3+ years’ experience in Server, Storage and Infrastructure related Technology
  • 5+ years’ experience with Network systems
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to explain Network and System, limitations, platform differences and trade-offs to a non-technical audience
  • Superior Supervisory and Project Management skills
  • Understanding of basic shell scripting (BASH, PowerShell, AppleScript).
  • Prior experience working with major ISP’s and setting up and managing existing ISP agreements
  • Working knowledge of networking best practices
  • Prior experience with Windows, macOS, Linux with both client and server systems
  • Basic knowledge and experience with two or more major firewall platforms such as Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto
  • Strong security first mindset is a must for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

  • Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information.
