The Transportation & Delivery Speed and Reliability team is focused on building the fastest and most reliable delivery network for Wayfair. We partner closely with supply chain technology, advanced analytics, supplier operations, and field operations to identify and execute initiatives that will enhance the Wayfair value proposition for our customers.

We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and dive headfirst into tackling complex transportation projects with massive value at stake.

What You’ll Do

  • Leverage data analytics to perform root cause identification of transportation-driven incidents (e.g. lost-in-transit)
  • Deep dive into diverse supply chain topics, identify high-value opportunities and develop action plans based on findings
  • Lead the opportunity sizing of various transportation initiatives (e.g. parcel carrier portfolio optimization) and communicate findings to leadership
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop transportation metrics in order to track performance against cost, speed, reliability and customer experience

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytically heavy role (e-commerce or supply chain analytics preferred)
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering, Operations, or other quantitative field
  • Fluency in analytical toolkits - Excel and SQL required, Google BigQuery and Python preferred
  • Penchant for leveraging data to determine root causes of problems, identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives and develop action plans
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, with a track record of taking on complex and sometimes ambiguous analytical challenges
  • Ability to navigate a highly cross-functional organization and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven recommendations in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
