The Role
The Cloud Platform team is responsible for the infrastructure and services that make up Paperspace’s multi-region public cloud. The team manages hardware infrastructure in our own datacenters, internal networks, and user-facing products such as shared file system service, object store, managed Kubernetes, VPCs, and compute. The team’s goal is to provide a reliable and scalable platform so that both users and Paperspace can run their applications easily and reliably.
What we're looking for
• 6+ years relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment building and scaling infrastructure using engineering practices with languages such as Python, Go, or Bash• Experience with linux OS, monitoring, and alerting• Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6• 2+ years experience in a 24/7 operational environment• Experience with architecting, maintaining, and scaling SDNs
What you'll be doing
• Providing hands-on technical design and engineering for network-related tools and systems• Monitor the network to maximize uptime and throughput• Developing and maintaining network automation solutions• Collaborate with software engineers to release networking related products
Technical problems the team has worked on
• Create an automated system for DDOS mitigation• Implement a QOS system to balance VM throughputOur Team
