Job summary
AWS Infrastructure Finance is looking for a world class Principal Program Manager to build and lead a team of program and automation experts that will support AWS growth for the next decade.

The role requires someone with experience in leading or coordinating international transformation and automation projects with significant ambiguity. The Senior Manager will help define the AWS Infrastructure vision and how Finance can support it with the appropriate systems, processes and people.

The newly formed team will collaborate closely with Tech teams and will own division-wide automation projects.

Key job responsibilities
· Document the Infra Finance vision (working backwards roadmap) and get Leadership buy-in
· Support the prioritization of strategic projects, their resource allocation and execution
· Drive division-wide automation initiatives
· Design or redesign Infra Finance processes to scale and adapt to changing systems and orgs
· Resolve conflicts across projects and drive escalations


About the team
AWS Infrastructure invests billions of dollars each year to provide cloud capacity to AWS customers worldwide. The team manages the construction of new Data Centers and procures equipment that support cloud storage, compute and other services offered to AWS Customers. AWS Infrastructure Finance supports the activity by providing controllership of budgeting, asset tracking and spend across teams specializing in Data Center construction, Engineering and acquisition of Server and Network equipment.

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 7+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
· 7+ years of experience in program or project management
· 7+ years of experience managing teams
· 7+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
· Experience managing teams and portfolios of projects at a large Corporate or Consultancy
· Insatiable appetite for innovation and optimization
· Finance/Accounting/Business or Engineering background

Preferred Qualifications

· Understanding of the cloud business and its products
· Current or past experience developing solutions through code (python, SQL or other programming languages)
