We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Vehicle Infotainment team.    Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment, excellent teamwork skills, a strong agile product management knowledge, experiences working with high performing software development teams.

The Role

  • Support, build and maintain a scalable multi-stage CI system. The CI system must be able to support a wide range of teams ranging from embedded software teams to teams developing software for the cloud and our vendors
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve relevant issues based on testing, and user validation.
  • Support and drive the adoption of foundational & repeatable software development & DevSecOps practices, as well as the de-centralization of DevSecOps support across Infotainment organization.
  • Support and improve our tools for continuous integration, automated testing, automation, and release management making the entirety of software engineering as efficient and effective as possible.
  • Improve the replicability of build and test runs using central OS configuration management, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • Unify our development pipeline, build process, testing and deployment strategies across diverse teams.
  • Researching, evaluating, and developing new tools to improve product development efficiency.
  • Planning for disaster recovery and capacity growth.
  • Supporting engineering teams and automating processes to improve developer productivity
  • Design and implement effective monitoring and alerting to ensure the health and performance of production applications
  • Actively participate in user story creation, design/code discussions and reviews with the team
  • Define, develop, and maintain artifacts such as technical design and documentation for various types of audience.


  • Desire and willingness to constantly learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Team player attitude to tackle difficult technical challenges.
  • Experience and knowledge using containerization solutions.
  • DevOps Experience developing in AWS. Preferred: Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Redis, Terraform
  • Strong understanding of CI and experience with industry standard solutions, e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI
  • Strong programming and scripting knowledge, e.g., Python, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash
  • Familiarity with software configuration management systems and source code version control systems, e.g., Git
  • Familiarity with software tracking tools and workflow, e.g., Jira
  • Strong understanding of test processes and test strategies including the generation of meaningful test metrics
  • Strong communication skills to gather requirements from the development teams and to train the teams in the workflow and processes.
  • Good technical understanding of large-scale server and cloud infrastructures
  • Experience developing CI systems and test automation for embedded software and hardware
  • 2+ years of experience working with Python
  • 2+ years of experience working with Terraform, Bash and PowerShell
  • Ability to communicate well and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in Linux development environment with GNU toolchain.
  • Experience with automotive infotainment systems, but not required.

  • Education
  • MS/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
