Your role:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer in our Dashboard team in Berlin, you will support the QA team with expanding automation coverage and  ensuring high product quality. Your goal is to make sure all deployments meet our high quality standards. In order to be successful, you should have extensive experience and strong skills in automation testing (both UI and API) using Javascript , CI tools (e.g. Jenkins), clear understanding of testing methodology, tools and processes, ability to report defects and document clearly. 


Your responsibilities:

  • Implementing UI and API automation tests for Dashboard team 
  • Analyse, review, and assess requirements and design specifications
  • Perform effective manual testing of Frontend and API to ensure product’s stability and performance
  • Exploratory testing
  • Work together with our cross-functional team and other stakeholders to identify the opportunities to improve, scale and automate our QA process
  • Share your passion for QA best practices to enable the development team to be responsible for quality


What you bring:

  • At least 2 years experience in automated testing for software development environments
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Strong UI and API automation skills
  • Relevant experience with testing web applications, debugging through browser dev. tools
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript and Jenkins is a big plus
  • Strong understanding of testing and quality methodologies and best agile testing practices 
  • Ability to zoom out to the big picture and identify gaps in quality to provide solutions from multiple perspectives
  • Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other team members
  • Experience in using Git
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
