Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

We're looking for an outstanding 'Production Systems - Infrastructure lead', whose objective and responsibility will be to install and maintain Project Kuiper's Enterprise software (SAP ERP, Team Center PLM, E2Open SCM, SAP MES) at optimal performance, availability and efficiency. The ES - Infrastructure lead will be responsible to lead the planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and production monitoring of all SAP instances and associated software tools. The individual will also provide assistance and consultation to other infrastructure and application staff and work within cross-functional teams. Job responsibilities
· Design Kuiper's Enterprise Systems technical architecture and environment landscape approach
· Plan and manage environment landscape delivery and operations
· Size the SAP/3rd party software required to meet current and future operational needs
· Install and configure ES/SAP software
· Define and manage ES/SAP transports across the environment landscape
· Define and implement ongoing patch management of ES/SAP software
· Define and implement ES/SAP backup/restore approach
· Define and implement ES/SAP application monitoring, as needed
· Provide design and implementation working with infrastructure team to deliver HA and DR solutions
· Provide issue resolution for ES/SAP Basis defects
· Collaborate with ES/SAP and Infrastructure Security to ensure software aligns to enterprise standards and policies
· Conduct ES/SAP software performance monitoring and tuning
· Work closely with application team members and business users
· Interface with developers and modelers for performance and data access requirements
· Develop standards and procedures for the ES/SAP database environment
· Consult with infrastructure teams on database requirements and configuration best practice
· Stay current with new ES/SAP technology developments and techniques, research new software and tools, proactively recommend improvements
· Evaluation and utilization of software products to assist in the management of ES/SAP software

Basic Qualifications


· Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
· 7+ years of Infrastructure systems experience, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ME
· Experience with cloud infrastructure best practices related to ideally AWS Infrastructure
· Experience with SAP S/4 HANA installation, upgrade and HANA system migration
· Experience working with SAP BW/4HANA
· Experience with SAP HA/DR best practices
· Experience with SAP backup and recovery solutions
· Experience with SAP configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or advanced degree in engineering or systems
· Experience in data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.
· Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
· Good working knowledge of SAP HANA and Linux
· Good Experience in Shell/PHP/Perl scripting is highly desirable
· Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
