Site Reliability Engineering Manager:Our infrastructure and testing pipeline has grown rapidly over the last year. As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of SREs as we grow our cloud and on-premise services. You will be responsible for overseeing our ongoing transition to cloud-based infrastructure & services from AWS to GCP. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Architecture to solve operational problems and balance short-term and long-term needs. Your efforts will ensure that Truepill’s platforms remain functional and available for our internal operations teams as well as our end customers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Directly mentor and manage the work of Site Reliability and Database engineers
  • Manage the engineering recruitment process to grow the team according to plan
  • Develop training and continuous development methodologies to ensure high-quality talent has a meaningful path forward with us for years to come
  • Assess, develop, and deploy frameworks and solutions to improve our systems performance, stability, redundancy, and maintainability
  • Enhance and continuously improve our monitoring and telemetry systems
  • Partner with stakeholders across technology teams to drive our full migration to GCP forward and to completion.
  • Partner with platform teams to decouple our applications into cloud-native microservices

We're Looking For Someone With:

  • 4+ years SRE experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • 1+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
  • Exceptional communication skills and consensus-building skills
  • Passion for helping people: our engineers, our team, and the customers we serve
  • Demonstrable experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other configuration management tools
  • Experience and certifications working with GCP (preferred) and AWS
  • Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes and GKE
  • A growth mindset and a desire to discuss new ideas and think collaboratively across the organization
  • A demonstrated ability to self-motivate and own projects from inception to completion
