Zipdev is seeking a dynamic UX Specialist. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Web and Information Technology, the UX Specialist is responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful student experiences. Additionally, the UX Specialists will develop and test layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices. The UX Specialists may design and test interfaces that facilitate human-computer interaction and maximize the usability of digital devices, websites, and software with a focus on aesthetics and design. They will create both functional and appealing beautiful features that address our student’s needs.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user.
- Conduct user research to determine design requirements and analyze user feedback to improve design quality
- Create Web models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models.
- Develop new visual design concepts and modify concepts based on stakeholder feedback.
- Develop system interaction or sequence diagrams.
- Research and apply innovative solutions for product design, visuals, and user experience to meet the needs of individual Web development projects.
- Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps.
- Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
- Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends.
- Work closely with department heads and executive administration to understand product visions, developer requirements, and student feedback
- Communicate with development and business teams to ensure designs align with requirements

Requirements
- At least three years of professional UX and graphic design experience.
- A keen understanding of information architecture and content strategy.
- Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas to developers.
- Knowledge of industry tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Zeplin, OmniGraffle, and Sketch
- Problem-solving skills to determine solutions to user interface challenges.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Analytical mind with business acumen.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail and mastery of information design.
- Be located in Latin America
- Excellent English communication skills.
