WPP IT is looking for a User Researcher reporting to the Head of Business Service Design to help grow and improve all services across its expanding portfolio.

This role is a vital part of our team that leads strategic research and insight for projects across the business. You’ll be enabling and expanding an existing toolset that connects end user insights, potential strategic approaches and business benefits to drive transformation and growth for the creative network of the year.

What you'll be doing:

Whilst the primary focus is on research and insight, we’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable helping design best practice research approaches to diverse challenges and opportunities, leading the sessions, helping summarise the insights and data, and to be that turn to voice of users – so ensuring those insights are heard loud and clear throughout the design, build and up and running phases of projects.

•    Supporting the Service Squads with research capability
•    Acquire, build and grow research tooling to create ResearchOps
•    Create and deliver bespoke research programmes as part of the wider service design capability
•    Be an advocate/champion for user centred design across WPP from end users to senior stakeholders
•    Test, measure and improve best practice research across the teams
•    Run insights sessions to teams and other departments like Change & Adoption, Enterprise Architecture, etc.
•    Develop a self-serve research capability

What you'll need:

  • Experience with User-centred research activities/programmes
  • Flexible toolkits and methods to suit different scale projects
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Data Analytics
  • Experience in user centred design/design thinking/behavioural science best practice
  • Team Management and resourcing
