We are currently looking for a full-time Global Operations Program Manager to be based in the United States. The qualified candidate will be part of our highly dynamic team managing exciting end to end programs with the goal of successfully delivering them on time, within budget and scope.

The Difference You Will Make:

  • Work with Trust Ops management, product teams, and shared services to define, launch and execute various strategic and operational initiatives aimed at improving the operation.
  • Define project goals and key results that align with strategic vision. Gain buy-in, track results and update progress to key stakeholders. 
  • Build detailed project plans with tasks, resources, dependencies and deadlines. Identify risks and create mitigation plans. Work with the project team to ensure on-time completion of key milestones and flag blockers or delays with key project sponsors or stakeholders. 
  • You remove blockers to get the project to the finish line. 
  • You know what the end goal looks like, and that is your north star. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Trust and shared services. 
  • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to management and the broader Trust organization. 
  • Maintain Subject Matter Expertise of your respective Specialization to take on operational core work or escalations when necessary.  

A Typical Day: 

  • This role requires building and maintaining relationships with the following stakeholders, outside your Reporting line: 
  • Project Management and Program Management Job Families in and out of your specialization
  • Operations Managers, PMO, Product, CS, ParMan, BPI (Service Optimization), OCM 
  • Policy, Training, PMO, Change Management, Content, as potential Cross-functional Areas of Focus

Your Expertise:

  • Experience working on projects designed to establish process and mitigate risk. 
  • Well developed problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Multi-tasking capabilities as we grow fast and changes come up frequently. 
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with management and leadership teams. 
  • You have mastered the art of informing audiences, large and small 
  • Expert in Atlassian software development and collaboration tools 
  • Proficient with Project Management tools such as Asana or Smartsheet 
  • Ability to create a Design Structure Matrix (DSM), Activity-on-Node (AON), or Gantt chart 

Qualifications 

  • 1+ years of experience in your Specialization as a subject matter expert (SME). 
  • You are familiar with different types of project management strategies or certified in PMP, CAPM, CSM, APM, PPM, or related education.
  • Completion of the Project Management Pathway in Degreed (or similar) 
  • You’re not afraid to ask questions, to get the information you need. 
  • You may have 8+ years experience or 4 years plus relevant education that provides similar experience (Level 8)
    • You must bring creative thinking and strong decision making skills to your role.
  • You may have 10+ years experience plus relevant education (Level 8)
    • You must have strong influencing skills and be able to manage effectively in ambiguity.

How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $94,000 and $121,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Airbnb,Inc. can employ in  states where we have registered entities. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware and Rhode Island.
