The incumbent in this role will use their extensive knowledge of Python scripting and will focus on using Python to automate the testing process, analyze test results, and interact with hardware and test software. He/she will work closely with Testing and Development teams to ensure delivery of high quality product.
Responsibilities
- Develop test plan, test execution and generate test reports for projects relating to regression, system, functional, performance tests.
- Work with development and tools team for resolution of technical issues of the product as needed.
- Perform Software Specification reviews, Test Plan reviews; improve test coverage, Automation testing etc.
- Effectively use test automation tools
- Ensure project compliance with Software Quality Processes.
- Verify fulfillment of release criteria.
Qualification / Skills :
- · BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in E&C or E&E
- · 3-4 years’ experience in testing embedded products
- · Strong Python scripting skills
- · Good knowledge on Embedded product (STLC), microcontroller and microprocessors
- · Basic knowledge of analog/digital hardware, C and assembly
- · Knowledge of using the Linux based tool and test exposure to STB will be an advantage
