Requirements
Design the tennis programs and supervise the coaching team for the quality, personalized experience delivered to the guests based on Mouratoglou & Costa Navarino Standards.
Develops a detailed annual calendar of tennis events/activities and applicable promotion campaigns.
Ensures that all guests, visitors and members receive courteous, prompt and professional attention.
Ensures that all employees consistently comply with SOP’s and with all applicable employment laws.
Establishes and enforces Tennis Center policies and procedures regarding play on courts.
Coordinate maintenance, repair and cleaning of courts with grounds and maintenance team.
Supervise Tennis Superintendents team and organize the maintenance of the Clay Court.
Ensures proper inspection of the courts/facilities daily prior to the start of play (morning/afternoon).
Oversee the Tennis Shop to include merchandising, recording inventory and invoices as per budgetary guidelines. Establishes appropriate inventory levels for tennis shop.
Establishes and implements an accurate inventory control system and reports results accordingly.
Assists Food and Beverage Department to coordinate F&B service support for tennis events.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Develops the budget and act as necessary to help assure that budget goals are met.
Focused on the development, planning, and supervision of the tennis business.
Maintains an accurate record of all tennis programs and provide written reports monthly/annually.
Must follow proper grooming and dress standards set forth by the Employee Handbook.
Attends all staff and management meetings / Reports to Hotel Director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 7 years coaching experience.
- National or International Certification as a tennis coach. (PTR - LTA or equivalent)
- Professional IT, Microsoft office and Internet skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
- English and Greek language skills – fluent level compulsory and any other language.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management, and other staff.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and time-management skills including a working knowledge of tournament
organization at performance level. - Working to deadlines and juggling different priorities.
