Technical Applications Specialist

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Main point of contact of all scientific applications;, GMP and non-GMP, and support of existing applications within the infrastructure: and assisting with installation of new. 
• Troubleshoot problems with the applications related to performance and/or functionality. 
• Working with third party vendors and technicians to engage and facilitate external support as necessary. 
• Maintains detailed documentation and inventory of all applications. 
• Disciplined recording of work and communication with customers via ITSM system 

• Ensures daily, weekly, monthly checks are completed and internal operating procedures are followed. 
• Day-to-day operational support of the applications. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

Required: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Systems or other related field(s) preferred or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 
• Three years of experience in a similar position - this is not an entry level position.
• Excellent written and verbal English communications skills. 
• Comfortable and mobile in the restrictive clothing required for working in a complex manufacturing environment. 

• Excellent customer service mindset, demonstrated through progression through service-oriented roles. 
• Demonstrated ability to absorb and convey detailed technical information, verbally and in documentation. 
• Productive in a team structure, including timely completion of individual deliverables without extensive or any direct supervision. 
• Demonstrated ability to forge good relationships with all stakeholders. 
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver results according to simultaneous and conflicting demands from multiple business units. 

• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and assignments, as required. 

Preferred: 

• Experience working in a GMP environment
• ITIL v3 or v4 foundation certificate. 
• Experience with complex multidomain / multiply segmented network environments. 

• Experience with server administration. 
• Proficiency in Danish language.
