Xsolla is looking for a solution-driven individual with a can-do attitude to join our Tax Team to support Xsolla’s growth as Tax Manager.
We’re distributed across five offices in Los Angeles, Berlin, Perm, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, with about 10% of the company working fully remote. This is a fully-remote role without any direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing support on tax-related matters as in-house tax advisor to all departments such as the legal, finance, business development and account management teams
- Liaising with international tax authorities during routine audits and ad hoc enquiries, including preparation of correspondence to resolve queries
- Managing the tax aspects of annual and quarterly financial reporting and building relationships with auditors in multiple jurisdictions
- Responsible for compiling and maintaining Russian transfer pricing documentation together with our external tax advisor
- Designing and developing reports and analyzing tax data as required to provide insight into the underlying data
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a Tax Manager, prior in-house/industry experience is preferred
- University Degree in tax, accounting or finance
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Strong technical knowledge of international tax matters
- Well organised, able to work with minimal supervision, having good project management and analytical skills
- Able to communicate complex tax concepts concisely in both written and verbal forms

- Professional tax and accounting qualifications
- Experience in IT/fintech/payments Experience in a multi-national company environment
- Hands-on experience in tax compliance for any of the following jurisdictions: Cyprus, Germany, Malaysia, the UK
- Experience in working effectively with third-party advisers in multiple countries
- Being agile and curious, loving to learn new things and enjoying the speed of a fast-paced startup environment
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence/Asana/Google Workspace
