We are looking for a hardworking intern that will join Podcast Studios Business Operations. We are responsible for audience growth strategies and business operations for Studios in the US. You will evaluate sustained support plans, launch tactics for new series, update and maintain show records in Airtable, attend cross-functional show meetings, and work across Spotify’s cross-functional teams to optimize audience growth for GenZ. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences podcasts.
What you'll do
- Assist with on-platform audience growth strategies, focusing on Gen Z
- Help with launch planning for series launches
- Own and maintain the team cultural calendar
- Manage series metadata in team content management system
Who you are
- A current undergraduate or graduate student planning to graduate in 2024
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023
- A self-motivated individual, who is hyper-organized with strong project management skills
- You have a highly developed passion for content development and the entertainment industry as a whole
- You have a proven track record of collaborating with others; a true teammate
- Curious about production, original storytelling, and developing new content ideas
- Passionate about pop culture and internet culture
Where you'll be
- A current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in general communications, content production, or marketing/business and planning to graduate in 2024
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023
- You have a positive outlook in a fast-paced environment
- You are experienced with Google Sheets/Excel, content management systems, and audience growth strategies
- You have a deep understanding of audience development for a streaming platform
- You enjoy listening to podcasts, entertaining consumers, and helping content find an audience
- You have a love of podcasts that you can tell us about
Our paid summer internships last for 10-13 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is February 28th, 2023 at 11:59 PM ET.
The United States hourly rate for this position is 27.00 USD (Undergraduate First Year & Sophomores), 32.00 USD (Undergraduate Juniors & Seniors), 44.00 USD (Masters) & 58.00 USD (PhD) per hour plus a one-time intern stipend of 2,253 USD. This position is overtime eligible. These rates may be modified in the future.
