Who you'll be working with:
Hi! I’m Sara Cruz, and I am the Store Manager at our US flagship store here in NYC. My role is all about people! My biggest achievement here has been curating a culture with a diverse, energetic, engaged team that produces BIG results. After all, we are in the BIG apple! I serve as an advocate for my team and for our clients alike; making sure everyone that steps foot into the store has an exceptional experience. I keep a hand in all aspects of the business from operations, visuals, inventory and on weekends you can find me curbside, sun or snow, as line concierge! I joined Mejuri in March 2021 after being drawn to the company’s values and have been continually impressed with their ability to invest in their employees' growth . After working in retail for the past 15 years, it's refreshing to be a part of a company that perceives feedback as a gift and truly listens and I am proud to be in this position where I can make change. The role:
Like everything we do, our retail experience is different. It’s about making customers feel comfortable, giving them the space to explore and support should they have questions. Guidelines and product names can be learned; genuine enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and passion for the Mejuri customer experience cannot.
We do not have a traditional retail environment. We’re looking for people who are not afraid of hard work and who bring an amazing energy to the team. Picking up on feedback, trends in customer behaviour and regularly reporting this to the Customer Experience team is a large part of the role.
**Please note that this position is required to work through the holiday season**
What you'll do:
- Provide an exceptional experience to all customers you interact with from the moment they enter the Showroom
- In the know and knowledgeable of all Mejuri products and latest launches
- Act as a stylist and advise which items pair well with each other. Offer your own personal experiences and give honest feedback.
- Facilitate the checkout process through POS
- Clean and organize the showroom
- Assist the Customer Experience manager with implementing various customer-centred campaigns on an as-needed basis
- Comfortable with technology and learning new forms of POS and CRM software

Looking for the perfect next opportunity is a big decision. Mejuri recognizes the importance of pay transparency when it comes to salary ranges as it empowers individuals through the hiring process and supports them in making an informed decision. This role will be for our Spring St. location in New York, NY with a base pay range of $17-$22USD per hour based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
