Strategic Marketing Director

The Precision Value & Health Strategic Marketing Director will support the organization’s marketing objectives by focusing on lead generation and supporting business development/customer loyalty for Precision Value & Health. This position is responsible for leading the planning, organizing, and managing of marketing functions to achieve our strategic objectives related to bookings and growth. The Director must partner with service-line business leads, business development, and other support functions to create targeted marketing strategies to be PV&H’s respective business goals. This highly matrixed role will ensure that the execution of marketing campaigns is handled on strategy, on time, and on budget. 

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with service-line leads to gain insight into strategic objectives and market challenges to design marketing plans and support a collaborative approach across PV&H
  • Identifies marketing strategies, compelling brand campaigns, and partnerships to generate bookings, drive traffic, and increase customer acquisition and retention rates
  • Designs data-driven annual marketing strategies to drive engagement and incremental sales
  • Coordinates with sales leadership to understand segmentation of Precision’s current and potential customer base
  • Develops ideal customer profiles and customer journeys to ensure that marketing approaches are appropriate and to increase success rates
  • Develops and disseminates a simple and clear brand message that communicates Precision’s value proposition
  • Ensures messaging consistency across all resources and channels
  • Designs, implements, and optimizes marketing campaign that leverages a variety of marketing modalities (eg, social, content marketing, conference support, paid advertising, etc.)
  • Organizes PR, thought leadership content, and awards activities
  • Effectively manages budgets
  • Clearly outlines potential ROI of marketing campaigns prior to execution
  • Provides management with regular reporting on performance, along with recommendations for optimization of activities
  • Monitors marketing analytics trends and innovations to identify business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of marketing leadership, preferably in the life science industry with demonstrated high level of independent performance

Other Required:

  • Experience with Social (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong writing abilities (note: writing sample will be required as part of the interview process)

Preferred:

  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with or working knowledge of life science companies
  • Experience in the cell and gene therapy space

Skills:

  • Comfortable in a leadership role and interacting with senior leaders in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive strategic and tactical initiatives in marketing
  • Self-motivated, resourceful leader with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple streams of ongoing work successfully
  • Proven ability to develop and successfully execute a marketing strategy leading to increased business growth and sales
  • Excellent time management, leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical reasoning, decision-making skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
