Position Overview:
Zenni is a mission-driven company with a singular focus, to bring affordable eyeglasses to anyone in the world who wants them. As a Senior UI/Visual designer at Zenni, you’ll help build a world-class design culture, and craft intuitive, usable, and delightful designs using wireframes and prototypes to communicate your vision.
In collaboration with product, UX designers, researchers, and other partners, you’ll create compelling end-to-end experiences by building new digital designs. You’ll create visual designs that deliver value for the business and delight users.
Zenni is looking for a self-starter, entrepreneurial UI or Visual designer with a deep skill set in web or marketing design. You’ll drive the product forward by designing what’s on the roadmap and optimizing the UI and visual elements with what to build in collaboration with cross-functional partners. You’re a good fit for this role, if you have fundamental Graphic design practices, love UX and excellent communication skills, and propose elegant and usable design solutions.
As a strong individual contributor on the team, you will drive the future of Zenni forward shipping exceptional designs to a loyal and passionate customer base.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with UX designers to make their insights come to life.
Partnering with product managers, UX designers, researchers, and content strategists
Deliver visual components, marketing campaigns, wireframes and, prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design.
Advocate for best design practices and ADA compliance.
Work with the Design System team to integrate new components into the UI kit.
Work with the Content team to deliver visuals to research for testing.
Advance your design rationale backed by user research, data, and industry trends
Manage time and project expectations appropriately when working on multiple projects at a time.
Proactively seek input and feedback on your design work, and contribute constructively to design reviews
Business-minded approach to finding win-win solutions for consumers and the business
Storytelling and communication skills for various stakeholder audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic, web or interaction design.
5-7 years of experience in visual or product design.
A portfolio with shipped design work
Experience working with design teams in a cross-functional role
Benefits
As of February 17th, 2023, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future; therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
