What's the opportunity? 🤔
As a Senior Social Content Creator at Intercom, you will be responsible for ideating, developing and executing creative social content across our social channels (including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok). As the social content lead, you’ll partner with creative producers, video editors and designers to bring your content vision to life. You will also liaise across the marketing department to advise and strategize on how to adapt demand campaigns and product launches to social to increase brand and product awareness as well as content engagement. You will also be responsible for community management and reporting. This lead will be the voice of the company and engage with our online social community, building relationships and driving deeper engagement with the brand. As the voice of the company on social, this role will need to understand and integrate brand strategy and positioning to create and evolve the social voice and tone. They will also be responsible for deeply understanding the Customer Service and Support industry in order to create content that adds value to our business audience.
What will I be doing? 🚀
- Develop and execute a social content strategy across multiple social media platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community growth
- Partner with a creative studio to create, edit, and publish high-quality, original, and engaging content that aligns with the company's brand voice and style guide
- Collaborate in a cross-functional editorial team, including designers, video producers, writers, podcast producers, demand gen, customer advocacy and product teams to create cohesive and impactful social content
- Stay up-to-date on customer service and tech news, trending topics, and emerging social platforms to inform content creation and identify opportunities for engagement
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics to measure the success of content and make data-driven decisions
- Partner with agencies and teams to manage and moderate social media accounts, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Identify opportunities to grow our audiences and engagement through boosted posts, partnering with demand gen teams on paid campaigns
What skills do I need? 📖
- 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience
- Proven ability to work across broad cross-functional teams to translate, ideate and produce creative and engage social content
- Understand the role of and how to translate product announcements, demand gen campaigns and product education into content uniquely fit for social platforms
- Ability to utilize core marketing principles in brand and campaign positioning, audience identification and targeting, and social channel strategy
- Well-versed in the various marketing channels with a basic understanding of channel function and formats. Demonstrate an understanding of marketing and sales funnels and how different tactics and channels drive impact across the entirety of a prospect and customer journey.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills. Ability to present creative briefs clearly and work with creative teams to execute against feedback.
- Experience with analyzing and drawing conclusions from social insights and data. Ability to turn that into actionable content recommendations.
- Think strategically and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, escalating priorities and working with cross-functional teams to make crucial decisions in the midst of content production.
- Highly organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $124,100 - $167,900. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
