Job Title: Sr. Manager, Merchandising

SUMMARY
The Senior Merchandising Manager will act as the credible voice of Merchandising for the Latam Distributor Merchandising channel, crafting strategy and setting the merchandising vision aligned to business objectives. You will balance bringing the Crocs brand vision to life at market while balancing sales, revenue, profitability, and productivity goals. Collaborative working style is a must as this role will take combine consumer and marketplace trend info, account/partner feedback and input from the commercial team to build the future.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Management
- Build and implement a consumer-centric merchandising strategy
- Be the consumer guide: lead conversations, educate others and demonstrate constantly evolving insights to shape overall merchandising vision
- Be the voice of the Latam region in presentations, meetings and conversations both internally and with our Global product and merchandising teams.
- Understand segmentation and different consumer types, and organize this into clear knowledge of product and buying behavior.
- Develop specific seasonal assortments for distributor partners within the respective channels to create a differentiated marketplace
- Focus on productivity and efficiency. Edit and focus stories and product offerings to tell bigger messages.
- Recap in-season business, tracking KPIs and communicating results to cross-functional partners
- Drive a growth-focused strategic vision and seasonal assortment creation for all personalization including Jibbitz and socks
- Present seasonal product stories and assortments to commercial and distributor partners to educate and enable effective sell-in meetings
- Work with the Global Merchandising team to advise and influence upcoming product offerings

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of dynamic experience Merchandising.
- Experience in the footwear industry and Distributor business preferred.
- Experience in people management is a plus.
- Knowledge of consumer trends with the ability to translate into commercial concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Can influence effectively, and be a strong team player in various settings, from one-to-one and small groups to larger conference presentations, whilst ensuring to land the important messages.
- Strong understanding of the Latam marketplace and competitor landscape.
- Ability to make Bold Bets. Through experience and knowledge, make strong decisions about taking the consumer forward into new space and back this up with an ability to land your vision.
- Action oriented and quick learner. Enjoys working in a fast, flexible and solutions-focused business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent negotiating skills.
- Confirmed ability to optimally work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent level of English. Spanish is a plus.
- 30% of working time involving travel, in the US, throughout Latam and Europe.
