As a SQA tester, you will work closely with the product and development team to ensure that product changes and improvements are working as per requirements. Ultimately, you will approach testing with a “zero tolerance for defects” mindset, driving engineering to produce high-quality deliverables .
What you will be doing:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases as per requirements
- Execution of test cases/test scenarios
- Monitor Manual and Automation execution results against the expected ones
- Constant execution of test plans and ad hoc requests
- Detecting, logging, and reporting software bugs/defects
- Tracking bugs/defects and helping troubleshoot errors
- Re-executing scenarios after bug/defect resolution by developers (regression testing)
- Assessing the product or service in terms of user experience and functionality
- Performing Exploratory Testing to ensure Live products are working as expected
- Collaborating closely with software developers and Product Owners
- Participate on the continuous improvement of QA processes
- Work in an agile environment (attend daily stand-up calls, give daily status reports and call out any issues or blockers that may delay release delivery)
- Cross browsing & Cross Platform testing
- API Testing
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Prepare and present demos to team members, stakeholders etc
- Basic understanding of Jira Processes and Test Management tools is a big plus
