The Role:
You will be responsible for building, managing, and improving the critical infrastructure and components that collectively make up both the Viz.ai cloud and on-premises services.
You will:
- Confidently and clearly communicate about technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams while serving as the Subject Matter Expert for Viz’s internal infrastructure
- Be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop solutions for various projects
- Maintain and improve currently existing infrastructure through scalable solutions
- Represent our company values: patients first; time is brain, quality squared, kindness wins, and I am accountable
- Be responsible for organizing and maintaining documentation associated with certain activities to accommodate regulatory and internal policies
- Identify gaps and propose improvements to Viz processes and technologies, including containerization
- Work to ensure Viz’s systems are robust and resilient
- Create CI/CD processes for various codebases

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience with AWS in developing and managing cloud environments
- Minimum 5 years experience in Linux system administration
- Minimum 5 years experience with Bash and Git
- Minimum 3 years experience with Networking, including routing, NAT, Tunneling and the OSI 7 layer model
- Minimum 3 years experience with Ansible
- Minimum 2 years experience with Docker or alternative container solutions
- Minimum 1 year experience with Kubernetes (K8S) or similar container management solutions
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, GSuite, JIRA and Confluence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers
- This position is 100% remote
- Experience with Python, DataDog, Terragrunt and SumoLogic is a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Salary Range: $115,000 - $148,500
