We are looking for you to support our area Automotive Operations at the location Eschborn or Regensburg.
The IT Competence Center Engineering Applications in Group Automotive is seeking a Solution Train Engineer (STE) and agile coach (m/f/diverse) to strengthen and further improve its setup according to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
- Facilitating meetings such as Pre and Post PI planning preparation meetings, Solution-level demos, solution-level synchronization meetings and solution-level Inspect & Adapt meetings
- Collaboration with and guiding the Release Train Engineers (RTE) of the solution
- Ensuring synchronization and consistency between Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and at solution level
- Driving continuous improvement to assure value delivery of the solution
- Coaching the RTEs, management and stakeholders to foster and develop a holistic agile mindset
- Driving and improving the agile setup and trains in terms of agile practices considering the automotive R&D context and the challenges
- Adopting a lean mindset in any situation to increase efficiency
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and agile methods and worked previously as either an STE or Release Train Engineer (RTE), be familiar with engineering processes and environments.
- Academic degree in Information Technology, Engineering or comparable qualification
- Significant experience in an equivalent position, e.g. STE, RTE
- Experience using agile methods and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
- Experience in R&D and Project Management methods (process, skills and tools)
- Leadership and coaching experiences
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Good German language skills (written and spoken) desirable
- Planning and organizational skills, results- and customer-oriented
- Excellent communication skills to create and maintain a good relationship with customers and agile teams
- Entrepreneurial behavior in a multicultural and international environment
- Willingness to travel (under 10 %)
