What you’ll do
- Delivering an ongoing feature-set within a complete web application
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Coordinating with the developers and business stakeholders to build an effective and achievable result
- Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the API in within service mesh architecture
- Communicating with external web services
What’s required
- Proficiency in ReactJs
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+), CSS (Flexbox/CSS Grid a plus), and HTML5
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript / ES6 practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
- Professional, precise communication skills
- Ability to define frontend development guidelines and best practices
- Thorough understanding of asynchronous mechanisms used in the modern web development (Promises, Observables, etc)
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Focus on delivering best possible user experience
- Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners (e.g. webpack, browserify, gulp)
- Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
- Creating e2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well reasoned alternative)
- Knowledge of 3rd party grid and charting tools (e.g. ag-grid, Highcharts) a plus
