As a critical member of a cross-functional agile journey team, the Software Engineer will be responsible for building end-to-end solutions consisting of Angular-based UI and Polyglot microservice on AWS. This individual must have a cloud-first mindset and must leverage many AWS technologies, including serverless, queues, pipelines, and advanced databases, to build a scalable solution. He/she must be passionate about cloud best practices, keeping abreast of relevant AWS IaaS solutions, code quality, and security.

In general, the successful candidate needs to be multi-faceted, and a clear communicator with the ability to manage programs, identify risks and clearly communicate inwards as well as upwards. The project scope involves development centers spanning multiple geographies and time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using modern frontend tools
- Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to iterate on requirements, UI/UX designs
- Own large features from design to implementation to deployment
- Implement high-performing and reusable UI components and design systems
- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure maintainability and stability
- Support fellow engineers through feedback, code reviews, and advancement of internal tools and processes
Technical Requirements:
- Should have a good understanding of data structure and algorithm
- Web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- SASS and modern frontend workflow
- Strong experience in developing JavaScript-based web applications, especially working with Single Page applications
- JS task runner like gulp, webpack, or similar
- Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of frontend development experience using Javascript
- Experience using (or building) REST APIs
- Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- Interested in creating UI library or kit (e.g Bootstrap, Foundation, JS components)
- Should have good communication skills and a fluent level of English
- Experience in building responsive applications.
- Familiarity or experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience writing unit tests
